An undergraduate female student published a paper as the lead author on DP in continual ML at the 28th ICONIP'21, a leading forum in neural networks and related fields. The paper opens up a new direction by discovering unknown privacy risks in continual ML and with an initial solution to address them. Based on that, the student won the following awards:
Pradnya Desai, Finalist for the NCWIT Collegiate Award’2022. The award honors the outstanding and impactful computing contributions of undergraduate and graduate women, gender-queer, or non-binary students national-wide.
Pradnya Desai, Presidential Leadership Awards’2022. This is the most prestigious award that NJIT can bestow upon a student.
